Dr. Aasma Khalid, Director Quality Enhancement Cell and Focal Person of HEC National University Rankings (NUR)/HES along with Moazzam Mumtaz (Assistant-BPS-16 and Focal Person-II of HUR/HES) attended an orientation session entitled, ???Initiation of National University Rankings 2023??? in the Regional Office of Higher Education Commission, Lahore on July 26, 2023. As per the directions of the Government of Pakistan, the Higher Education Commission has launched the National University Rankings 2023. HEC has devised the NUR 2023 in 06 categories i-e Quality Assurance, Teaching and Leaning Environment, Research, Financial and E-Governance and Social Integration and Community Development. These 06 categories have further been split into 69 parameters through which the HEC will collect and categorize all public and private sector universities of Pakistan. The primary objective of that session was to discuss all 69 parameters with all focal persons.
